Xavier Clarke

Goal Indigenous Services is an initiative of Managing Director, Xavier Clarke. Xavier is a well-respected Larrakia and Amrreamo/Marritjavin (Daly River region) man and former AFL footballer, now head coach of the Territory’s own NT Thunder.

Xavier’s passion is coaching, and through this, helping people achieve their goals on and off the sporting field. He uses this passion, drive and leadership skills to work for change and positive outcomes for Indigenous people, and Goal Indigenous Services is the practical embodiment of this vision.

Xavier also sits on the AFL Indigenous Advisory Council, the AFL Women’s Advisory Group, and is an Ambassador for White Ribbon.

Before signing up to Goal VTEC, I had been job searching for three months. Within two months of registering with Goal VTEC, I successfully gained a cleaning role with a major project in the civil construction space. That opportunity led to being offered a full time Certificate III Civil Construction Apprenticeship which I’m excited about.
