Goal Indigenous Services are seeking a skilled and experienced Administration Assistant to join a management company based in Alice Springs. You will deliver professional and courteous assistance to all visitors, while providing comprehensive administrative support to the Manager and team.

Key responsibilities:
  • Respond to telephone, email, and customer enquiries in a timely and courteous manner.
  • Manage the distribution and handling of all incoming and outgoing mail, freight, and deliveries.
  • Accurately process and record financial transactions in accordance with company procedures.
  • Provide general administrative support and assist team members as required.
  • Oversee the upkeep of office supplies, equipment, and ensure cleanliness of office and meeting areas.
  • Maintain a sound understanding of operations to provide accurate and relevant information.
  • Comply with the Alice Springs Drug and Alcohol Management Program.
  • Ensure adherence to all relevant legislative, regulatory, and organisational compliance requirements.
  • Assist in the processing and issuance of permits and applications.
  • Support contractor management, including sign-ins and induction procedures.
  • Uphold high standards of compliance, safety, customer service, and alignment with company values.
  • Proactively identify and contribute to opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • Promote and maintain safe working practices in accordance with workplace safety standards.
  • Demonstrate active engagement and collaboration as a contributing team member.
Essential Requirements:
  •  Computer literacy, particularly with skills in Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Friendly disposition, well-mannered and effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work with minimum supervision and meet deadlines.
  • Strong degree of common sense with the ability to take a balanced view between customer expectations and business obligations.
  • Eligibility to hold a Security Identification Card
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment medical (including a drug and alcohol test).
  • Previous experience in working in an active office environment.
Desired:
  • Hold an Australian drivers’ licence or have ability to obtain one.
