This role offers an excellent pathway into the construction industry, with structured on-the-job training and support to complete a Certificate III in Carpentry .
Responsibilities:
- Assist with general carpentry tasks including framing, fix-outs, cladding, and decking
- Interpret construction plans and follow instructions accurately
- Use and maintain hand and power tools safely
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organised worksite
- Work collaboratively with tradespeople and site supervisors
- Commit to completing formal training and apprenticeship requirements
- Identifies as Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander (a requirement for this identified position)
- A genuine interest in carpentry and the construction industry
- Willingness to learn and develop skills over the course of the apprenticeship
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and a positive attitude
- Construction White Card
- Driver’s licence and reliable transport
- A paid apprenticeship with hands-on training and mentorship
- A culturally safe and inclusive workplace
- Support to complete your Certificate III in Carpentry
