Key Responsibilities
- Manually wheel out and return kerbside bins for collection
- Assist with bin loading and operation of truck lifting mechanisms
- Navigate tight laneways and city streets with the driver
- Conduct visual waste checks (e.g. recycling or contamination)
- Use a tablet (iPad) to manage run sheets, report issues, and log completions
- Maintain high awareness of surroundings and public safety
- Report missed services or access issues using onboard systems
- Represent the team with professionalism in public spaces
- Physically fit and capable of performing repetitive manual handling tasks
- Reliable with a strong work ethic and commitment to attendance
- Ability to work early mornings (5:30am start) Monday–Friday
- Safety-conscious with awareness of working in high-traffic/pedestrian areas
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and follow supervisor instructions
- Basic technology skills (comfortable using an iPad for job allocation)
- Professional attitude when representing the company in public
- Ongoing casual opportunity with potential for weekend overtime
- Stable, consistent hours – Monday to Friday, day shift (early finish at 1:36pm)
