Goal Indigenous Services is seeking a committed Indigenous Carpenter to join our Darwin-based team on a full-time basis. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain valuable experience on a variety of residential, commercial, and community-based construction projects across the NT, including occasional remote work.
Key Responsibilities:
· Interpret and work from building plans and specifications
· Perform carpentry tasks including framing, roofing, decking, and internal fit-outs
· Assist with maintenance and repair work across a range of projects
· Maintain a strong focus on workplace safety and quality
· Work effectively within a team environment, both locally and remotely
Requirements:
· Certificate III in Carpentry or currently undertaking an apprenticeship
· Construction White Card
· Driver’s licence and reliable transport
· Willingness to work away on remote projects (as needed)
· Positive attitude and eagerness to build a long-term career in construction
Remote Work Details:
Some projects may require travel to remote communities. Remote swings will be capped at a maximum of 3 weeks at a time, depending on project needs and negotiable based on the candidate’s situation.
