Responsibilities:
- Identify barriers and implement strategies for effective claims management.
- Provide empathetic support to workers and employers, ensuring their needs are understood.
- Collaborate with internal teams (e.g. Return-to-Work Specialists & Eligibility Officers) to resolve claim issues.
- Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, guidelines, and internal policies.
- Educate stakeholders on Return-to-Work processes and legal obligations.
- Collect and manage medical and other supporting evidence for proactive claims handling.
- Maintain accurate records across multiple workflow systems.
- Provide administrative support including appointment bookings, correspondence, invoicing, and information requests.
- Identify potential recoveries and refer cases for assessment when appropriate.
- Stay up to date with legislative changes to provide accurate claims advice
- Complete workflow tasks promptly to meet company standards.
Essential:
- Previous administration & data entry experience with a high level of accuracy.
- Microsoft Suite proficiency
- Experience working within a highly focused customer service environment
- Successful completion of Year 12 or equivalent.
Desired:
- Prior claims Management / Workers
- Compensation Experience.
- Knowledge of relevant Acts and Legislative requirements.
- Previous experience managing internal and external stakeholder relationships
- Industry specific qualifications
