About the Role This is a true generalist HR role where you'll work closely with managers and employees across the organisation, providing advice, support and guidance on a broad range of human resources matters.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the end-to-end employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding and offboarding.
- Provide advice on HR policies, procedures, employment legislation, awards and performance management.
- Support employee relations, conflict resolution, grievances and workplace investigations.
- Maintain accurate HR records, systems and confidential employee information.
- Assist with learning and development, performance reviews and workforce planning.
- Contribute to policy development, compliance activities and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Build strong relationships with managers, employees and external stakeholders.
- Promote a positive workplace culture through professional HR support and coaching.
- Qualifications in Human Resources or relevant HR experience.
- Experience in a generalist HR position.
- Sound knowledge of Fair Work legislation, awards and HR best practices.
- Experience with recruitment, performance management and employee relations.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.
- High attention to detail and the ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Current NT C-Class Driver's Licence.
- Working with Children Clearance (or ability to obtain).
- National Police Check (or ability to obtain).
- International Police Check (if applicable).
- Knowledge of the Northern Territory and/or the Vocational Education and Training (VET) sector.
