Key responsibilities:
- Lead all marketing, advertising, branding, and communications across the organization
- Develop and implement strategic marketing and stakeholder engagement plans
- Manage marketing budgets and provide support to internal departments
- Coordinate and promote organizational events and initiatives
- Represent the organization at conferences, committees, and industry forums
- Oversee media relations, sponsorships, and digital presence
- Capture professional event photography and manage visual content
- Supervise and mentor a small marketing team
- Ensure compliance with contractual obligations and brand standards
Essential Requirements:
- Completion of a Bachelor or Diploma level of Marketing or Public Relations Management and subsequent relevant experience in a related field.
- Demonstrated ability to drive and deliver marketing, communications, and media outcomes to meet strategic objectives in a fast-paced environment.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills and the ability to synthesise material.
- Excellent time management skills, including ability to work to a deadline whilst maintaining attention to detail.
- Well-developed interpersonal skills and a collaborative mindset, with sound professional judgment.
- Demonstrated ability to deliver high-quality marketing, communications, and media output in a range of formats for varying audiences and channels.
- Demonstrated experience managing a budget.
Desired:
- Knowledge of the Northern Territory and national goals and current developments in Vocational Education and Training (VET).
- Qualifications in an associated discipline.
