Goal Indigenous Services are seeking a motivated Return to Independance Specialist in Darwin, NT. In this role you will be responsible for delivering high-quality empathetic & personalised early intervention & face-to-face service to injured workers, employers & treating health practitioners. 

Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate and attend in-person case conferences with injured workers, employers, and medical professionals to drive early Return-to-Work outcomes.
  • Educate stakeholders on Return-to-Work processes, legislative obligations, and the impact of claims and premiums.
  • Support injured workers by promoting the use of specialist services and resources aligned with Return-to-Work goals.
  • Participate in medical reviews and collaborate with vocational providers to support Return-to-Work and Return-to-Life outcomes.
  • Implement and monitor cost-effective medical and service strategies to ensure scheme sustainability.
  • Liaise with internal teams to maintain consistency across claims and contribute to entitlement reviews.
  • Develop and monitor tailored Work Plans, ensuring stakeholder engagement and accountability.
  • Maintain detailed, evidence-based documentation to support decision-making.
  • Support employers and workers in completing compensation documentation, ensuring technical requirements are clearly explained and easily understood.
  • Contribute to ongoing file reviews and perform other duties as directed by management.

Essential:
  • Current Driver’s License.
  • Workers Compensation and/ or Claims Management experience.
  • Knowledge of the Workers' Compensation, Injury Management industry, business requirements and administrative practices, policies procedures and guidelines.
  • Experience in working within a multidisciplinary team, coordinating and chairing meetings
  • Experience Developing Return to Work plans using S.M.A.R.T. goal principles.

Desired:
  • Industry specific qualifications.
  • Certificate of Personal Injury Management or other Industry specific qualifications.
  • Appropriate professional registration relevant to an Allied Health discipline.
