Key responsibilities:
- Effective decision-making under pressure and in time-critical scenarios, with a track record of measurable safety and compliance improvements.
- Emergency management, including the design and delivery of exercises and training programs.
- Leadership with the ability to influence safety culture and drive compliance across diverse stakeholder groups.
- Applying aviation safety management systems, regulatory standards, and risk management principles in complex operational environments.
- Conduct internal audits, safety inspections and incident investigations
Requirements:
Possession or ability to obtain all necessary licences and clearances:
- NT Driver’s Licence
- Airside Driving Authority (Category IV)
- Aviation Security Identification Card (ASIC)
- CASA Reporting Officer status
- CASA DAMP Supervisor qualification
- Strong knowledge of relevant Australian and international aviation legislation and regulatory frameworks, including CASA, Department of Defence, Department of Health, and Department of Infrastructure requirements
