Responsibilities
- Supervise daily site operations, trades, and subcontractors to ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and to company standards.
- Coordinate site activities, labour, materials, and equipment to maintain construction schedules.
- Conduct daily pre-start meetings, site inductions, and maintain accurate site documentation and records.
- Work closely with the Project Manager to manage project timelines, budgets, and overall project delivery.
- Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement practical, cost-effective solutions.
- Lead and support site teams, fostering a positive and safety-focused work environment.
- Liaise with clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and stakeholders to maintain strong working relationships and resolve issues efficiently.
- Ensure compliance with WHS, environmental, and quality standards through regular inspections and safety meetings.
- Investigate incidents and implement corrective actions where required.
- Previous experience in a Site Supervisor or Site Manager role within construction or civil projects.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Ability to coordinate multiple trades and subcontractors effectively.
- Sound knowledge of WHS legislation and site safety requirements.
- Strong communication, problem solving, and organisational skills.
- Ability to read and interpret construction plans and project documentation.
- Relevant construction qualifications, licences, and tickets highly regarded.
