Responsibilities:
- Conduct risk assessments
- Create and issue work permits (Safe Work Method Statements) & sign off on who can complete each job
- Supervise incoming deliveries
- Supervise or operate a front-end loader during unloading
- Assist with hands-on site work and labouring tasks when needed
- Experience in issuing work permits
- Ability to lead a small team
- Forklift license
- Front-end loader ticket
- Background in construction, manufacturing, or waste industries
- Strong work ethic and reliability
- Understands the importance of attendance and punctuality
- Commitment to safety
- Self-motivated and proactive
- Able to work independently and within a team
- High attention to detail
