Responsibilities
- Sort, pack, and safely dispose of legacy chemical waste (90% of role)
- Prepare accurate manifests and documentation for waste classification and quoting (10% of role)
- Work closely with Senior Chemists, Chemists, and Branch Manager to maintain safe operations
- Follow strict HSEQ policies and accreditation standards to ensure compliance
- Tertiary qualifications in Applied Science, Chemistry, or equivalent
- Previous experience as a chemist, preferably with hazardous materials
- Forklift licence/experience is desirable but not essential
- Physically fit and ready for a hands-on, active role
- Structured 38-hour week (Mon–Fri)
- Gain experience handling and classifying chemical waste in a safe, compliant environment
