Goal Indigenous Services are looking for Waste Sorting Chemists to join our Laverton North team. This is a hands-on role, assisting with the sorting, classification, and disposal of chemical waste onsite.
 
Responsibilities
  • Sort, pack, and safely dispose of legacy chemical waste (90% of role)
  • Prepare accurate manifests and documentation for waste classification and quoting (10% of role)
  • Work closely with Senior Chemists, Chemists, and Branch Manager to maintain safe operations
  • Follow strict HSEQ policies and accreditation standards to ensure compliance
Requirements
  • Tertiary qualifications in Applied Science, Chemistry, or equivalent
  • Previous experience as a chemist, preferably with hazardous materials
  • Forklift licence/experience is desirable but not essential
  • Physically fit and ready for a hands-on, active role
